I'm Amr Arbani, co-founder and Head of Data at Foorier.
I come from management consulting. Seven years transforming executive teams, business lines and IT departments, mostly around data and AI. I led the energy-compliance overhaul of about a hundred buildings before co-founding Foorier to turn that work into a product.
Foorier builds open building automation, free of proprietary lock-in, and a data/AI platform that supervises entire building portfolios. I run data there, from architecture to energy-optimization algorithms. My fixation: that the promised savings actually land, and that we can prove it.

This site is my public notebook. I write at the intersection of three things that shape my work:
- energy and smart buildings, my daily job;
- data and AI applied to the real world, not to the demo;
- a Muslim ethic as a lens, including how I relate to finance and to work done right.
